We have continually, though carefully, expanded since the 1960s, when Chambers first decided to specialise in criminal law. With 49 tenants, led by three Queen’s Counsel, we can provide strength, depth and dedicated representation at every level of the criminal law.

At every stage in our history we have championed equal opportunities; as a result we have a particularly strong and diverse array of experience. Several of our former members are now judges, including one who was appointed Judge Advocate General. We have the further advantage that our excellent team of clerks are able to match every brief to the barrister whose skills are most suited. This ensures that we can maintain extremely high standards in our work.

Chambers enjoys a reputation for excellence, whether defending or prosecuting.

Members have conducted many high profile cases including substantial fraud, drug conspiracies, murders, sexual offences and other violent crime. Areas of specialisation include computer and ‘cyber’ crimes and the assessment of DNA and forensic scientific evidence, courts martial, licensing and regulatory/consumer law and planning.
