Mia is frequently instructed in serious cases in both the Youth and Crown courts, in addition to the Court of Appeal. The same include rape and serious sexual assaults, and many of her cases have received extensive media attention. Mia has also acted as Junior counsel in several notable trials involving kidnap and serious violence. Most recently Mia was appointed by the court as 'special' counsel in a rape case representing an absent defendant.

 

Mia is recognised as counsel who gives complete dedication to every case in which she is briefed and renowned for her feisty approach in court.
