On Saturday 15th June, Chambers hosted the first of two four hour CPD accredited lectures at the offices of the Bar Council in Holborn.
The Lecturers and lecture subjects were:
Christine Laing QC spoke on 'Recent Developments in Hearsay and Bad Character Evidence'
Tanya Ossack delivered a lecture on 'Inside Wormwood Scrubs', a history and the role of the Independent Monitoring Board.
Tim Forte addressed delegates on the subject 'The Three C's - if you can't beat them, join them - using the CPR, CJA and the CTL's'
Catherine Roberts spoke on 'In Defence of Social Media and the Freedom of Expression - defending social media prosecutions'
Chambers will present a further four hour CPD accredited lecture at the same venue on Saturday 12th October where in addition to two 3TG lecture subjects, 'Forensic Access' (an independent forensic science team) http://www.forensic-access.co.uk/ will lecture on the topics 'Scrutinising Forensic Services' and 'Examining and Challenging DNA Evidence'.
