Adam Davis QC and Tim Forte successful in Operation Perhaps in the Court of Appeal

Having been refused leave by the Single Judge, Adam Davis QC and Tim Forte advised their defendant in Operation Perhaps to renew his appeal against sentence. In this £4m multiple fraud conspiracy, carried out over a decade, the defendant received a total of 11 years.

Today, Tim appeared on the renewal application before the Full Court presided over by Lord Justice Treacy and was granted leave. The Court reduced the 11 year sentence to a total of 7 years, agreeing with Tim's submissions as total starting points, totality and disparity.
