Prior to commencing her Pupillage, Dilan gained extensive experience as a criminal defence paralegal at two reputable solicitor firms. She was involved in a diverse array of cases, ranging from theft to high-profile murder, and achieved significant successes, including numerous acquittals in serious criminal matters.
Dilan is particularly noted for her meticulously crafted letters to the Crown Prosecution Service detailing any weaknesses of the case, often persuading them to discontinue cases before prosecution proceeds.
Dilan is also highly regarded within the Kurdish community and is an active member of the England Alevi Cultural Community Centre.
