Before commencing pupillage, Tanya worked as a Pro Bono Administrator at the University of Law and as a County Court Advocate with Quest Legal Advocates. During that time, Tanya was particularly praised for her client care, proactive attitude and attention to detail.

In addition, Tanya has a passion for active citizenship and community engagement. She has volunteered as a Vocalise mentor at HMP Downview, served on the board of a Mauritian NGO which supports children’s medical care for five years, and spent over a decade as a scout and adult leader.
