Dilan Guven Palomar, Ruth Reid and Samantha Ball represented clients who were unanimously acquitted of affray after an eight-day trial at St Albans Crown Court.
Their clients were alleged to have engaged in a fight in a residential street with weapons. After submissions were made on whether the location was a ‘private place’, the prosecution offered no evidence on the possession of an offensive weapon in a private place counts. The jury then acquitted the defendants of the remaining affray count.
Dilan Guven Palomar and Ruth Reid were instructed by Noble Solicitors.
Samantha Ball was instructed by Gatsby Law.
