Francesca Hallett, instructed by Rashmi Hirami of HP Gower Solicitors, has been successful in an Appeal Against Sentence at Inner London Crown Court whereby RB’s sentence was reduced from 51 weeks to 45 weeks after successfully arguing that the trebling of the starting point of the offence, after trial, was excessive in the circumstances.
After time served, this resulted in RB’s imminent release from prison.
