The defendant represented by Jodie-Jane Hitchcock, led by Sam Robinson QC of Garden Court Chambers, was acquitted of murder and manslaughter following a two week trial at Wood Green Crown Court. The defendant had stabbed her partner following a domestic incident but maintained that she had been acting in self-defence.
