John Femi-Ola KC secures sixth successive murder acquittal

John Femi-Ola KC

Following a 10 week trial at the Old Bailey, JS represented by John Femi-Ola KC and Hayley Brickle (Nexus Chambers), was found not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter.

JS was the principal defendant in a four-man trial. The prosecution alleged that following a commotion, the defendants overpowered the deceased and JS deliberately and intentionally stabbed the deceased to death in the neck and chest. The co-defendants ran a ‘cut-throat’ attack against JS with one co-defendant giving evidence corroborating the prosecution’s supposition. The case posed extremely difficult evidential challenges.

John has now secured six successive murder acquittals.

John was instructed by Monika Wesolowski of Foresters Solicitors.
