Matthew Keliris-Thomas, instructed by Philippa Issac of Hunt & Coombs Solicitors, represented a client at Lincoln Crown Court who faced an indictment on both s20 and s18 Grievous Bodily Harm relating to two separate incidents.
After discussions around DNA evidence between the Defence and Crown this was not pursued by the Crown and nor was Count 1, the s20 GBH. Following cross-examination of the remaining Complainant, on the remaining s18 count, the jury entered a directed acquittal of the client.
