Michael Stradling defended in an EncroChat case at Snaresbrook Crown Court. The case involved detailed and careful cross-examination of Luke Shrimpton, the expert on the data obtained by the NCA.
Michael Stradling was able to generate very considered written questions and answers regarding the reliability of the data and the data harvesting process. This led to Luke Shrimpton being called by the Crown to give live evidence and also generated a subsequent report on the overall reliability of the data.
