Jonathan Woodcock secures acquittal in jury intimidation case

Mr A was attending the trial of his older brother when the jury brought in a verdict of guilty. Mr A exploded in temper and outrage and had to be forcibly removed from the court. Distressed and tearful about the prospect of having to explain this result to his mother he left the court premises. He returned, this time it was alleged to shout at jurors in his brother's case as they left the building, and in particular it was claimed that he targeted the foreman of the jury by taking or purporting to take photographs of him. The incident was largely captured on the court's CCTV system.

The jury took just over half an hour to find Mr A Not Guilty.
