On Saturday 18th October, Chambers hosted a four hour CPD accredited lecture at the offices of the Bar Council in Holborn.

The lecturers and subjects were as follows:

Steven Perian – 'Vulnerable defendants and witnesses and the use of Intermediaries – The legal framework and practical solutions'

Dr Philip Avenell BSc (Hons), MSc, Phd (Forensic Access) – 'DNA profiling in criminal casework in the UK – What's changing?'

Geoffrey Arnold PgCert MAE MFSSoc (Forensic Access) – 'Ballistic Comparison Microscopy'

Shona Grundy – 'Changes to the law and practice regarding unfitness to plead: A review of the Law Commission's latest proposals'
