Charles Durrant

Charles Durrant secures the acquittal at Winchester Crown Court of a marketing executive accused of assaulting a landlady at closing time – the victim required stiches to her eye and lost teeth during the incident – Defendant's case of pre-emptive self-defence was accepted by the jury within an hour of deliberation despite the Defendant's 3 previous convictions for alcohol related violence going before them and 2 independent witnesses who worked as door staff at the venue.
