Adam Wolstenholme successful in the High Court preventing extradition

Adam Wolstenholme acting as Junior alone, represented the only party successful in opposing extradition to Romania in the joined appeals of Edutanu and Others. All other parties were represented by both Queen's Counsel and Junior. The question before the High Court was whether, and if so when, a European Arrest Warrant that does not give particulars of further offences is valid and explores the role of speciality where there are merged sentences. The authority now provides guidance to the approaches previously adopted by the Administrative and Divisional Courts.

Adam was instructed by Sundeep Pankhania of H.P. Gower Solicitors.
