William Saunders secures acquittal for music director

William Saunders

William Saunders represented a musical director who has been acquitted of all counts of sexual activity with a child by a jury at Snaresbrook Crown Court following a 3 week trial.

The prosecution case that he had groomed the complainant before going onto have a sexual relationship with her was rejected by the jury. The defendant had maintained that he had been falsely accused and framed by the child and her mother who wanted to keep him as part of their "family".

William commented that this was one of the more unusual cases that he had defended and illustrated once again the power of social media.

William was instructed by Kayders Solicitors
