Gordon Ross secures acquittal in £200,000 possession of criminal property case

Gordon Ross

Gordon Ross secured the acquittal of a man charged with possession of criminal property when he was found in possession of £200,000 in cash.

The acquittal followed a successful appeal against conviction where Gordon argued that the conduct of the first trial judge was so unfair that the defendant did not receive a fair trial. The Court of Appeal agreed and ordered a re-trial. The defendant was found Not Guilty by the jury at the re-trial.

Gordon was instructed by Tilson Solicitors Ltd
