Patrick Harte appeared in the widely reported case of Ibrahim Anderson at the Central Criminal Court. Mr Anderson, who achieved notoriety in 2016 for promoting the activities of ISIL / ISIS on Oxford Street pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to 15 similar offences. He accepted he had shared videos which again promoted the aims of the so-called Islamic State. Judge Philip Katz QC said some of the material shared by Anderson was "at the worst end of the range seen in this court".
