Acquittal for Attempting to cause GBH


A chambers member has secured the unanimous acquittal of his client for attempting to cause GBH and possession of a knife following a 6 day trial in Portsmouth Crown Court yesterday. The case involved an alleged knife fight in a busy town centre street in daylight between the client the co-defendant. The incident was covered by numerous CCTV cameras. The co-defendant was convicted of both counts he faced.
