Samantha Ball’s client no longer faces fraud by false representation trial after legal argument

Samantha Ball

Samantha Ball represented a client charged with fraud by false representation at Southampton Crown Court in respect of a phishing fraud. The Crown did not disclose the client's full telephone download until just before the scheduled trial.

Samantha served an argument to exclude all of the telephone evidence in the case as well as an argument to exclude the majority of the Crown's case as irrelevant bad character evidence. The following day, the Crown offered no evidence against Samantha's client and therefore he was not guilty of all charges.

Samantha was instructed by Central Chambers Law.
