After a trial lasting 6 weeks at the Crown Court in Plymouth, Patrick Harte secured an acquittal for a defendant charged with counts of conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine throughout the south west of England. The defendant, who had admitted previous convictions for similar offending, was accused of playing a significant role in an Organised Crime Group responsible for the importation and distribution of Class A drugs in the region.
