Puneet Grewal successfully represented a client charged with two counts of rape and ABH. The complainant alleged that, after a night out, she had initially engaged in consensual intercourse with the defendant but later withdrew her consent during intercourse, saying “no” a number of times. She alleged that he persisted with anger and aggression, raping and assaulting her multiple times.
The defendant was unanimously acquitted on all three counts at Maidstone Crown Court. Puneet was instructed by Reeves & Co. Solicitors.
