Samantha Ball, instructed by Hayley Mahoney of Harris Cuffaro & Nichols Solicitors, represented a client at Chelmsford Crown Court who was acquitted of GBH s.18.
Samantha’s client was accused of a joint enterprise attack in which it was alleged a fractured jaw was caused. The prosecution relied on CCTV footage, a phone call recording and the evidence from the complainant and two independent eye-witnesses. Samantha cross-examined the witnesses and adduced medical evidence which supported the defence case.
Following a six-day trial, the jury acquitted Samantha’s client.
