Samantha Ball, instructed by Newgate Solicitors, represented a client in a trial at Isleworth Crown Court.
Samantha’s client was accused of intentional strangulation and two counts of assault by beating. The allegations were said to have been committed during the course of a relationship and witnessed by family members.
Samantha successfully applied to exclude comments reportedly made by her client under s. 78 as the police had not given the appropriate caution.
The jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts on all counts.
