Samantha Ball represented a client accused of two counts of rape and other non-sexual offences. After a nine-day trial at Woolwich Crown Court, her client was acquitted of both counts of rape. The case involved successful legal arguments to exclude evidence due to late service and under PACE s. 78 to exclude unfairly prejudicial background evidence.
