Stephen Garbett recently secured the acquittal of his client at the end of the Crown's case during a trial at Wood Green Crown Court.
His client had been charged with 3 counts of ABH and one of criminal damage arising from an incident where 2 masked men had attacked a man and his 2 children with baseball bats. The crux of the case was the recognition evidence of the man and his wife. This evidence was thrown into doubt during cross examination, leading to the Crown dropping the case.
