Tim Forte successful at the Admin Court

Tim Forte instructed by Nadeem Ullah at Abbey Solicitors was successful at the Admin Court on Friday, the last day of term, in a Judicial Review of a Crown Court bail refusal. Tim was instructed for four Claimants in the JR of the refusal by Croydon Crown Court of Bail following the aborting of the trial after  prosecution disclosure issues. The High Court agreed with Tim’s analysis that there was no s. 29(3) SCA exclusion in the circumstances and that, relying on ECHR Article 5 authorities, the ruling was unlawful and should be quashed. The bail position was remitted back to the Crown Court.
