Tim Forte has been successful in securing an award for a defendant of nearly £11,000 in wasted costs as a result of the of the proceedings being discontinued by the Crown. The defendant had been incorrectly accused of being one of three who had committed a violent robbery, involving firearms, in the home of a young man who suffered a ferocious attack as part of the robbery.
