Before commencing pupillage, James worked in a management role within the healthcare sector for several years.

Prior to this, James worked within the legal services sector and held roles within compliance and regulatory teams. He has also worked on major legal projects including fraud investigations.

James has previously volunteered as an Appropriate Adult for young persons and vulnerable adults in police custody. He has also represented immigration detainees at bail hearings as part of his LLM course.
