3TG’s highly rated team of advocates is frequently in demand for disciplinary and other regulatory hearings, instructed by both professional bodies and individuals.

Our members have appeared before tribunals of numerous professional bodies – including for doctors, nurses, solicitors, architects, and the police. They are also instructed in military tribunals, including court martials.

This is a high-stakes field in which the consequences suffered by individuals in particular can be severe. Our high quality and dependable advocates deliver a tailor-made service to every client. Some advocates have first-hand experience of being members of disciplinary panels, giving them invaluable insight into the process. Many of our members are qualified to accept instructions on a direct access basis.

Healthcare tribunals are a particular strength of 3TG advocates. Our members’ work includes:

• Appearing on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Council in proceedings involving a nurse accused of sexually assaulting a patient during an examination.
• Appearing on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Council in proceedings involving a health visitor who allegedly failed to provide adequate antenatal care which contributed to the deaths of multiple babies.
• Being instructed by the Royal College of Nursing in the case of a nurse accused of physically assaulting a vulnerable patient with mental health issues.

3TG offers strong advocacy in sports law. Members regularly advise professional athletes, PGA European tour golfers and sport management companies. They have appeared before the:

• Football Association (including for a Rule K Arbitration, representing an FA licensed agent)
• Football League (including a tribunal on transfer irregularities)

Our advocates are adept at taking instruction in environmental proceedings. For example, our team has appeared on behalf of a property developer accused of breaching a Tree Preservation Order.
