Patrick Harte secures acquittal in conspiracy to import cannabis trial

Patrick Harte

Patrick Harte secures an acquittal in a conspiracy to import cannabis case at Northampton Crown Court.

The defendant was accused of playing a significant role in a conspiracy to import over 100kg of cannabis from Greece.

The case focused, amongst other issues, on mobile phone evidence between the chief conspirator and the defendant. In addition, the defendant's address was used for the delivery of the cannabis and he offered significantly varied accounts to the police as to why this was the case after initially denying any delivery.

The defendant was acquitted on the second day of jury deliberations.

Patrick was instructed by Woodfines Solicitors
