Dora Belford has secured the acquittal of a man charged with possession of a gun in spite of his DNA being identified on two areas of the gun

Dora Belford successfully represented a defendant who was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life as well as simple possession in the alternaative . The defendant 's DNA was found on the gun in two discreet areas . In spite of this evidence, as a result of cross examination of the Crown's forensic expert, a jury at Blackffriars Crown Court acquitted the defendant.
