Jeremy Wainwright QC represented a client acquitted of Attempted Murder at Luton Crown Court in Operation Sutherland. The defendant had fired a gun at very close range at another man in the left side of his chest. The jury found him Not Guilty of Attempted Murder, but guilty of the lesser offence of S.18 GBH.
