Jeremy Wainwright secures an acquittal in armed robbery case

Jeremy Wainwright has secured an acquittal in an armed robbery trial at Croydon Crown Court.

The defendant was charged with an armed robbery after a cold case review and the case turned on DNA evidence. After cross-examination of the prosecution DNA expert, a submission of no case to answer was upheld by the Judge who directed a verdict of Not Guilty.
