Jodie Hitchcock, leading Katie Porter-Windley, represent defendant acquitted of conspiracy to import cocaine and cannabis.

Jodie-Jane Hitchcock

Katie Porter-Windley

The Prosecution arose out of Operation Hushfont, an investigation into an alleged Organised Crime Group based in East London.  The defendants were alleged to have been responsible for importing over 1000kg of cocaine and cannabis into the UK via commercial flights.  The Prosecution alleged that their client was the ‘trusted lieutenant’ in the Operation. Following a trial that lasted over 3 months at Isleworth Crown Court, Jodie Hitchcock and Katie Porter-Windley’s client was acquitted by the jury of all counts that he faced.

They were instructed by Helen Da Silva of daSilva Solicitors.
