Following a five week trial at the Central Criminal Court, John Coffey QC and Karen Dempsey secure the acquittal of their defendant in a murder and robbery case.

John Coffey QC and Karen Dempsey have secured the acquittal of a defendant charged with murder and robbery. The case surrounded the stabbing to death of a man on Parsons Street, Hendon on a July afternoon last year.

The defendant was a man of good character who decided not to give evidence at the trial. Counsel's speech was a major factor in securing his acquittal.
