Clare Dowse’s client acquitted after week long Leeds Crown Court trial involving pre-recorded cross-examination


Clare Dowse has secured the acquittal of a 77 year old man at Leeds Crown Court, following a trial which involved the pre-recorded cross-examination of a child complainant. After hearing five days of evidence in allegations involving the alleged sexual abuse of his step-granddaughter, Clare's client was unanimously acquitted of all five counts by the jury in just over an hour.
