Acquittal for client accused of class A drugs importation

Chambers represented a client accused of importing class A drugs from the Netherlands having used the dark web and bitcoin to source and buy the drugs. He was unanimously acquitted on Friday at Luton Crown Court.

Facing the prospect of a lengthy custodial sentence, the client instead was fined for the simple possession of drugs he had admitted to when proceedings started in December 2019.
