John Femi-Ola secures acquittal in manslaughter case

John Femi-Ola, leading for the defence, has secured the acquittal of a Bouncer (one of three charged), accused of manslaughter by gross negligence after a trial that lasted four weeks at the Central Criminal Court.

The Crown alleged that the victim's death was caused by asphyxiation following restraint, but the defence argued that the cause of death was multifactorial.
