Patrick Harte, instructed by Simon Harrison of Vienna Kang Advocates, today secured the acquittal of a man accused of playing a leading role in the management of Class A drug line operating in North London for over a year. The Defendant, who had two previous admissible convictions for Class A drug supply, gave evidence he was the victim of modern slavery.
The trial which took place at the Crown Court in Winchester lasted one week and involved CCTV footage, telecommunications analysis and prosecution expert evidence.
